This 2-day workshop is specifically developed to guide Executive Assistants (EAs) and Personal Assistant (PAs) to getting recognition and development opportunities they deserved. This workshop will assist delegates to master the skills they need to achieve success as a EAs/ PAs.
Both hard and soft skills needed for successful EAs/PAs will be covered in this workshop. Hard skills such as notes/ minutes taking skills and business writing skills will be taught in this workshop. While soft skills such as dealing with different working styles, influencing others and handling emotional intelligence will be shared in this session.
About the Trainer:
Proud to be a Prince’s Trust Business Mentor, Creator of the BakerWrite Speedwriting system, an experienced training consultant, specialising in secretarial, PA and administrative skills, she had over 20 years' experience as a secretary and PA before becoming a consultant in 2000. Her book was published in May 2009 and, since 2010, the system BakerWrite Speedwriting has been offered by all Pitman Training centres in the UK and there is an increasing number of other licensed training providers. Her second book “Successful Minute Taking : meeting the challenge” was published in August 2010 and is the basis for the Pitman Training “Successful Meetings and Minutes” self-study programme. She is also the author of “Successful Business Writing”, published in 2012.
